Wildwood Opens Surf Beach

The city of Wildwood recently opened a dedicated surfing beach.  The new surf beach is located on Andrews Avenue, just south of the Wildwoods Convention Center.

Wildwood Commissioner Pete Byron said “A visit to Wildwood offers something for everyone. No matter what your interest, Wildwood has something to please even the most discriminating vacationer. By bringing a designated surfing beach to our sand we hope to see many more visitors enjoying their Wildwood days. Just like the rest of our beaches our surfing beach is free and open to all. There is no charge to surf in Wildwood.”

The surfing beach is open to surfers of all skill levels. For beginners, the beach has board rentals as well as surfing lessons.
