Boardwalk:
To get the full Ocean City experience the boardwalk is a must see for a vacation at the Jersey Shore. This two and a half mile boardwalk is extremely family orientated and with hundreds of shops and restaurants there is truly something for every member of the family. Children and teens will love the multiple amusement parks filled with rides and attractions for all ages on the OCNJ Boardwalk. The Water Park on the OCNJ Boardwalk is filled with water slides and a lazy river that the whole family will enjoy during their NJ vacation. Browse through the unique stores and shop or play a round of boardwalk miniature golf. Make sure to take time to stroll along the boardwalk and take in the beautiful views of the Jersey Shore coast while eating some famous New Jersey salt water taffy and fudge.
Downtown Shopping:
OCNJ has a great downtown shopping area which features over 100 stores, coffee shops, and restaurants. This is a great place to walk around and enjoy browsing the many unique shops Ocean City has to offer. There is something for everyone in the downtown shopping district including fun souvenirs, beachy home décor, and unique fashion finds. Be sure to stop in one of the unique coffee shops, bakeries, and restaurants when you visit.
Water Sports:
One of the best things about OCNJ is the ability to try lots of different water sports and activities. The ocean and bay provides a perfect place to try water sports during the summer months. Jet skiing and parasailing are popular choices in Ocean City. Try taking a kayak out in the back bays, or take a stand up paddle board lesson. There are many options for rentals and group lessons available. There is also fishing charters and pontoon boats available for daily rentals.
Special Events:
Ocean City has many fun events planned throughout the spring and summer seasons. From farmers markets and festivals to unique events like the Doo Dah Parade that features a parade of over 300 basset hounds. Check out a concert at the Ocean City Music Pier or one of the recurring children’s events that features balloon animals and face painters.
